Fulgencio Lazo is a Oaxacan-American visual artist whose paintings, prints, sculptures, and installations draw upon Zapotec visual traditions, migration, memory, and the cultural exchange between Mexico and the United States.

For more than three decades, Lazo has developed a studio practice grounded in bold color, layered symbolism, and rhythmic abstraction. His work extends beyond the studio through exhibitions, public installations, and collaborative cultural projects that connect contemporary art with collective celebration and community life.
